“Coups de Coeur” Contest
The Coups de Coeur Competition was launched in 2016 and rewards the best products on show based on a number of criteria, including their originality, their appearance, how they taste and their texture. On January 13 a jury of professionals met to test and vote for their 12 favourites out of the 117 products entered They represent terroir, taste and quality through new products, cheeses and emblematic dairy products, but also unexpected pairings that will soon be hitting the cheesemongers’ shelves. -

Lyre d'Or Competition
Once again this year, the fair has rewarded the know-how and craftsmanship through several competitions. On Sunday, February 27, the famous Lyre d'Or Competition was held, organized by the Union des Fromagers d'Ile-de-France, which rewards the know-how in the creation of a cheese platter. Thirteen dairy-cheese candidates from all over France were in the running to produce three works: a today’s tray, a tomorrow’s tray and a cheese preparation. Here are the results. -
Contest «One of the Best Crémier-Fromager Apprentices of France»
Once again this year, the fair has rewarded the know-how and craftsmanship through several competitions. Monday, February 28 was held the 3rd edition of the Contest « One of the Best Crémier-Fromager Apprentices of France» , organized by the Fédération des Fromagers de France, under the aegis of the Société nationale des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. This competition aims to reward young cheese makers in the making and to highlight the importance of the know-how transmission.
