Stéphanie Ciano of World’s Best Cheeses shares why the Cheese and Dairy Products Show is key to sourcing, trends, and global partnerships.

Stéphanie Ciano, VP International Purchasing at World's Best Cheeses, was at the Cheese and Dairy Products Show in 2024. And we'll no doubt be seeing her again in 2026!

Among the 8,500 trade visitors to the 2024 Cheese and Dairy Show, the majority were French, but over 20% were foreign buyers from 60 countries. European countries obviously took the lion's share, but the show was also visited by a large number of buyers from Brazil, Japan, Canada and the United States.

The proof is today with Stéphanie Ciano, who came to the show on behalf of World's Best Cheeses (New York State), a major source across the Atlantic with almost 3,500 cheese and delicatessen products in its catalogue.

Stéphanie Ciano believes that her visit to the show will have a major impact on the catalogue: ‘It allows us to discover new suppliers, sign a lot of new contracts, and organise our sales for the year with our existing partners’.

A trip to Porte de Versailles also allows Stéphanie to spot the latest trends, particularly in packaging: ‘I'm noticing a new trend towards packaging that uses less plastic and looks more natural,’ she points out.

Between sourcing and staying up-to-date with market developments, a visit to the Cheese and Dairy Products Show is an invaluable part of the work of the VP International Purchasing at World's Best Cheeses. So much so, in fact, that she leaves no doubt that she will be attending the next show, which will take place from 7 to 9 June 2025 at Paris - Porte de Versailles: ‘You'll be seeing me in 2026, that's for sure!
