The Plantimay’s Farm is located in the Chartreuse Valley, between mountains and plains. Five generations have followed one another, preserving the tradition of raising Montbéliarde cows and Saanen/Chamoisée goats to develop the production of farmhouse raw milk cheeses. Nearly 700,000 litres of cow's milk and 120,000 litres of goat's milk are collected each year to produce a complete range of cheeses that perpetuate a proven expertise and give each cheese its own distinctive character, such as Saint-Félicien, Tour du Bonheur, Béret de Marius, Chorolant, Chartreuse, Tomme de Chartreuse, Faisselles, Jusson and Saint-Marcellin IGP.
Each of these products is made using a recipe developed on site.
Sustainable commitments
At the Plantimay’s Farm, sustainability is essential and is reflected in a wide range of concrete actions: seeking to be self-sufficient in feed for livestock, sourcing suppliers from the Rhône-Alpes region, respecting animals, employing local staff, and partnering with a reintegration association and a sensitive natural area to contribute to the site's biodiversity.
This eco-responsibility will be highlighted on the farm's stand at the next edition of the trade show in which it has already participated. For the 2026 trade show, the Plantimay’s Farm already has several ambitions: ‘to forge links with many partners in the cheese industry,’ ‘to give a human face to a commercial relationship in order to strengthen it,’ but also to seek ‘conviviality among exhibitors, discussions with customers and meetings.’
The 2026 trade show will also give the Farm an opportunity to present a new product (Tomme cerclée de Chartreuse) currently in development.
Come and discover it from 7 to 9 June 2026 at Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles!
